These Sardinian houses are made of natural clay and finished using pastel color crackle glaze and double-fired. A typical Sardinian lapwing and stone details add traditional accents to the sculpture. Available in three color versions typical to the coastal houses of North Sardinia:
- yellow with lapwing, climbing plant in a pot and rough wall effect
- blue with lapwing and rough wall with refractory powder
- green with lapwing, tree and smooth walls with light glossy effect
Our Mediterranean-style houses take inspiration from the architecture of Michele Busiri Vici, called by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV to design Porto Cervo at the beginning of the 1960s. Their forms, slightly angular, rounded here and there, remind seashells; white colouring evokes bright Sardinian sands. Clay roofing tiles, circular windows and arch terraces along with any tiny particular reflect the marine style, a way of living the summer.
Dimensions: height 8 cm (3 1/6").
This is a sculpture thus each house differs from the others. In case of particular requests, please contact us before concluding your purchase.
